General terms and conditions

These are the general terms and conditions of Luxury Golf Trips. Version: July 2025.
We are affiliated with the GGTO Guarantee Fund.
1. Definitions
• Traveler: the natural person or legal entity who enters into an agreement with Luxury Golf Trips.
• Package travel: a composite trip consisting of at least two of the following services:
transportation, accommodation, or another tourist service (such as green fees).
• Standalone service: a service that is offered on its own, such as only a hotel or green fee.
• Green fee: payment for the use of a golf course.

2. Applicability
• These conditions apply to all package travel, golf trips and related services
offered by Luxury Golf Trips and booked by the traveler.
• The rules for package travel apply to a composite trip. The general rules of consumer law apply to standalone services.

3. Conclusion of the agreement
• An agreement is concluded as soon as the traveler agrees verbally, in writing or electronically to the offer from
Luxury Golf Trips.
• After booking, the traveler will receive a confirmation and invoice.

4. Payment
• A deposit of 25% of the tour price must be paid within 7 days of booking.
• The remainder of the tour price must be paid no later than 6 weeks before departure.
• For bookings made within 6 weeks of departure, the full amount must be paid immediately.
• For individual bookings, full payment is required immediately upon booking.

5. Cancellation by the traveler
• In the event of cancellation of package tours by the traveler, the following cancellation fees apply:
• Up to 12 weeks before departure: 25% of the tour price
• Between 12 and 6 weeks before departure: 50% of the tour price
• Within 6 weeks before departure: 100% of the tour price
• For individual services, the cancellation conditions of the relevant service provider apply (hotel, golf club, etc.).
Please note: For tailor-made and exclusive packages, different conditions may apply (such as non-refundable green fees, rooms)

6. Changes by the traveler
Changes can, if possible, be made up to 30 days before departure.
An administrative fee of €25 per change may be charged, in addition to any additional costs.

7. Changes by Luxury Golf Trips
• Luxury Golf Trips may cancel the trip if there are insufficient participants (the minimum number of participants will be communicated in advance)
in the case of a group trip or in the event of force majeure. In that case, the full amount paid will be refunded.

8. Liability
• Luxury Golf Trips is only liable for damage resulting from shortcomings attributable to it.
• Luxury Golf Trips is not liable for damage resulting from the actions of third parties (such as hotels or golf courses).

9. Complaints Procedure
• Complaints must be reported as soon as possible during the trip so that a solution can be offered.
• If no solution is found on site, the traveler can submit a written complaint within 7 days after the end.

10. Travel Documents and Health
• The traveler is responsible for having valid travel documents, visas, travel insurance and vaccinations.
• Any limitations (such as a disability) must be reported at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

11. Dress Code and Behavior on Golf Courses
The customer is responsible for complying with local etiquette and dress codes.

10. Applicable Law
• Dutch law applies to all agreements.
• Disputes can be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
